Quick and easy Hummus

This is very easy and quick to make, all it takes is putting the ingredients together and blending. Put in more or less of each ingredient to suit your own taste.



- a bottle/tin of pre-cooked chick peas

- generous amout of Marqués de Guadalmina Arbequina EVO (min 100ml)

- a few cloves of garlic

- a fresh chilli or two

- one lemon

- spicy paprika

- cumin

- salt and pepper


Put all the ingredients in a blender or a bowl and then use a hand blender. Whirr it all up. Add more or less spice to suit your own taste.


Serving suggestion: once blended, if you put the hummus in a shallow bowl, you can then cover it with MdG EVO and a bit extra paprika. This stopps it from drying out, and you get a lovely mix of hummus and fresh olive oil.


Amazing with fresh bread or toast, but just as good with raw vegetables (carrots, broccoli....)
